Here is a special collector's piece. The table was constructed with our bridge wood and drift wood in the legs and spreader. The wood under glass is Redwood from 1884 that was part of the promise for BC to enter confederation (the construction of the railroad across Canada and into Vancouver Island). The redwood was rescued in 1982 from the fire when they burned the water tower in Sidney BC. The burn marks are noticeable on the redwood. The book is included that tells the history of the wood from order to build to burn to table. This would be an incredible buy for any collector or train enthusiast.

Here is the coffee table that started it all. When commissioned to build this coffee table, it led Les to learn about all of the logging bridge wood that was being burned annually. (200,000,000 board feet per year) It led to the famous quote, "If you stop burning, I'll take it all." And because of this coffee table Bridges had started its own furniture line that reduces forest fires and carbon emissions.
