Bridges Furniture is a Canadian Indigenous Environmental company that is focused on recycling wood waste specifically old removed logging bridge modular sections. We work with Canfor Corporation and other forestry companies to pick up the old and usually damaged bridge sections called bridge mods throughout the forest sectors of British Columbia, Canada. We ensure that these bridge mods are not burned but are instead reclaimed into beautiful art furniture.
Every art furniture piece is a numbered art piece that will have the number and signature of the artist, as no piece is alike. Every artist fashions the furniture into what he envisions and tells the story. Each piece of furniture is built with reclaimed bridge wood. When you buy a piece of art furniture from Bridges Furniture you are sharing in the responsibility of preserving our beautiful Canadian forests and ecology. You may have an idea in mind to custom build and we are open to commissioning the artist for this as well.
