Here is a special collector's piece. The table was Here is a special collector's piece. The table was constructed with our bridge wood and drift wood in the legs and spreader. The wood under glass is Redwood from 1884 that was part of the promise for BC to enter confederation (the construction of the railroad across Canada and into Vancouver Island). The redwood was rescued in 1982 from the fire when they burned the water tower in Sidney BC. The burn marks are noticeable on the redwood. The book is included that tells the history of the wood from order to build to burn to table.
